Agustin Trevino started his funeral career here in the Brazos Valley over 18 years ago. Trevino-Smith Funeral Home celebrated 3 years in business on July 28, 2010. We are proud to have sold over $220,000.00 in Pre-burial plans in just 3 years.

You may be wondering who Smith is. Dale Smith was Agustin's stepfather. Together, with his mother, they created the vision for the Mortuary Service but unfortunately, Dale passed away before their dream came to fruition. In memory of his stepfather, Agustin and his mother have named the funeral home Trevino-Smith as a symbol of their partnership and unity. The family plays a large role in the business today and he considers all his employees to be family.

Trevino-Smith Funeral Home is affiliated with the Texas Funeral Director's Association and offers many services including: Traditional Funeral Services, Memorial Services, Cremations, Pre-Arrangements and Embalming available to the public. Brazos County Mortuary Service offers embalming services for local and out of town funeral homes. Agustin is an ambassador for the Chamber of Commerce is in the Bryan Rotary Club is a member of the Woodman of the World and a member of the College Station Noon Lions Club.

Agustin comments, "It has always been a dream to open my own funeral home and now that I have, it feels great. We want to offer all our clients the personal touch including a video memorial of their loved one. Having lived in the Brazos Valley for so long, I consider it home, and we strive to offer home-town services."

Trevino-Smith Funeral Home offers a large seating capacity, a variety of caskets and a selection of vehicles including the Black Diamond Motorcycle Hearse Service. The interior of the home is extremely inviting and is decorated and finished to a very high standard. Agustin, his mother Linda Flowers and their team have done all the work themselves and it has certainly paid off.

Trevino Smith Funeral Home is offering services seven days a week and is ready to cater to all your needs.

Please note: We are open on Saturday and Sunday for funeral services and appointments only.

Funding Options

Traditional Methods
Traditional funding of final expenses are from the deceased's savings account, a family member's savings account, a bank loan taken out by a family member or perhaps a life insurance policy still in effect.
A common misunderstanding is the assistance provided by a government program. Currently Social Security pays very little to a living spouse or minor children if the deceased qualifies. The Veterans Administration might pay some money if the deceased meets strict qualifications. Many individuals think that the "State" or some other agency will be there to absorb the costs because they perhaps have been used to such assistance while their family member was alive. This is an incorrect perception and a dangerous assumption.

Contemporary/Preferred Options
Providing funding in advance eliminates the financial burden from those who you care about the most while ensuring the integrity of your personal selections. Securing the funds specifically for the final expenses in an irrevocable manner protects them from intrusion by the Medicare/Medicaid regulations, family members, and potential creditors or long-term care facilities. An additional benefit is our guarantee that pre-funding your selections will "guarantee" your costs at today's rates to protect you and your family from future increases and inflation.

Our Funeral Home offers options and payment plans to fund the final arrangements you have selected. For your protection, a Third Party actually holds the money you place with a funeral home until the funeral home actually provides its products and services.

Please contact our office to consult with a Funeral Director to determine which option is best for your situation. There is no fee for this confidential consultation.
