Longhorn Tavern Steak House

People in Bryan and College Station have been coming to the Longhorn Steakhouse for 25 years when they want great food in a great atmosphere. The Longhorn has a new home in Downtown Bryan, but the quality is still there as the Longhorn Steakhouse once again has won the Readers' Choice Award for "Best Chicken Fried Steak."

The Longhorn Steakhouse is now officially open in Downtown Bryan. The new location will still have the Longhorn feel, with all the decorations and furniture making the move from the Highway 21 location. In addition to the "old" Longhorn feel, the new Longhorn will feature a party room, a full bar with patio and new additions to their menu, icluding a variety of vegetables to offer.

"After several months of searching for a new place to relocate The Longhorn, we found the perfect spot in historic Downtown Bryan," said owner Rita Whitley. "When we walked into the vacant building, we immediately knew it was the place for The Longhorn."

One thing people will certainly be flocking to the new location for will be the famous chicken fried steak. Hand-made from Rita's own recipe, The Longhorn's chicken fried steak has been a local favorite for years.

The staff at The Longhorn are honored to have once again defended their chicken fried steak title and are happy to be recognized by their loyal customers.

"We would like to say thanks to our customers," Rita said. "They are who keep us coming back day after day. We will continue to do what we are doing and want everyone to come enjoy our new restaurant with us."
