Charles and Sue's School of Hair Design was founded in 1971. The school was moved to its current location in Bryan in 1979. The facility was built and designed for the express purpose of training students in the theory and practice of cosmetology.
At Charles & Sues, our mission is to prepare graduates for careers in cosmetology arts and sciences. We continuously strive to improve our operation and keep alert of the ever-changing developments and techniques in cosmetology. This is made possible because of our association with Pivot Point International, a global corporation that is creating and obtaining the latest information worldwide. Information on fashion, cuts, colors, perms, new styles and other salon services for both male and female clients are gathered and correlated into educational audio/visual/DVD programs.
We are regulated and licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and are also accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts & Sciences.
We pride ourselves on carrying only the best products available in the industry, including Redken, Aquage and Paul Mitchell.
Discounted services are available including haircuts, color, highlights, perms, manicures, pedicures, waxing and more. Appointments and Walk-Ins welcome, and all services are performed by supervised students. We also offer a discount of 25% to senior citizens (62 & up) on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
